Whose turn is it?

Chorgy shows whose turn it is in the flat, what was done when and how long it took.

The app for your flatshare. In beta soon.

The Today tab: the day's chores with names and times, one of them up next for you.

Two photos. Done.

A photo before, one after. The time between them is the duration. There is no stopwatch.

2 photos per chore

A finished chore: the before photo and the after photo side by side, the duration above them.

From the same spot.

With Plus the camera lays an earlier photo over the viewfinder, half transparent: last time's after, or the before you just took. Stand where the two line up, and the flat sees one place changing instead of two photos of anywhere.

A lined-up photo counts for no more than a crooked one. The overlay helps you take the photo, not set a record.

The camera before the before photo: last time's after lies half transparent over the viewfinder, which still points crookedly at the same kitchen. Below it, the overlay setting, on its strongest.

The clock stays in view.

After the before photo the chore stays up as a notification, on the lock screen too. It shows how long ago that photo was, and from there you take the after photo or give up. The duration is still the time between the two photos.

This is how it looks on Android.

An Android notification for the running chore: the time since the before photo, a bar with the before done and the after still to come, and two buttons to finish and to give up.

Everyone takes a turn.

A chore goes round the people you add. With Plus you trade a single turn, and only that turn moves; the rest stays where it was. A chore without a date cannot be overdue.

The Chores tab: a list of chores, who has each and when, and below them the chores without a date.

Changes need everyone.

Whoever wants to change how something is done asks the others. Everyone agrees, or seven days pass with no objection. One objection is enough, and it stays as it is. The Timeline says which of these happened.

7 days with no objection, then it holds

A proposal to change a chore, with the new how-to and who has agreed so far.

Chorgy controls nobody.

Chorgy does not store who looked at what or how often the app was opened. What it stores is what was done.

A comment is something a person publishes themselves. What you do not share yourself is not recorded.

The rest of the flat.

That covers the flat itself, the kitchen, the shared money and the calendar.

  • The Home tab with rent, contracts and meter readings.

    Home

Rent, contracts, meters, rooms and the papers that go with them.

  • The Kitchen tab with the week's plan and the shopping list.

    Kitchen

A meal plan for the week and the shopping list that follows from it.

  • The shared money with the latest purchases and the balance.

    Money

Who bought what, who owes whom, and the receipt for it.

  • The Calendar tab in the month view with dates and an absence.

    Calendar

Every date in the flat, and who is away when.

Plus. One subscription for the whole flat.

Free covers two people, chores in one step, fixed rhythms, one meal plan, the flat's calendar and the Home and Kitchen tabs. Plus comes in when there are more of you or you want more. One subscription, for everyone in the flat. Whoever pays can hand the subscription on at any time.

What Plus adds

  • three people or more
  • rotation that knows who is away
  • chores in steps
  • your own rhythms
  • trading turns
  • the camera overlay for the after photo
  • merging meal plans and having them made
  • nutrition
  • the Vault
  • linking your own calendars

Stop paying and the Plus features go read-only. The flat keeps everything and nobody is removed. From the third person on everything is read-only, and anything started stays as a draft.

The plan choice: one subscription for the whole flat, yearly or monthly, with no price on this page.

Your data stays here.

  • Stored in the EU, nowhere else.
  • A chore's before and after photos are deleted after 90 days, except the pair that holds the chore's record.
  • No AI reads the Vault.
  • Whoever moves out is out at once.

90 days, then a chore's photos are gone
